A quick summary of Life in a Corfu Village so far 2022 ...
This Summer life here was a very warm place to be.
Overall it was very hot & dry
So Ok what did we do...
Well lets do this month by month ...
April and May brought us Beautiful lettuces and some potatoes too
June the Apricots
July it was all too much we had Peaches, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Courgettes , Peppers
August - we harvested our seedless Grapes and made Jam, along with more of July's crop (above) gosh the freezer was getting full.
Our white grapes are seedless so are rather too sweet for wine - hence we eat them fresh from the vine or make Grape Jam
September it was Almond season along with Pomegranates too.and more tomatoes....
October - well more Lettuces which we planted in early September as the kind weather allowed these to come through. And Walnuts we all love Walnuts here with Yoghurt and honey a prefect healthy Breakfast..... and more lettuces and a few small cherry tomatoes too.....November so far - well more Walnuts, lettuces and of course, Origiani, Mint and now some Roses popping through too along with Sweet Peas I use our Mint for the bathroom fragrance rather than using aerosol sprays...
As the nights become damp and cooler it is time to prepare the logs for the open fire,
Back in touch again soon with Winter Life in our Village......
